Die Präsenz des Meeres ist phänomenal - zudem kann Man(n) den ganzen Ponient überblicken: sehr schön. ew

Liegt wirklich direkt am Strand. Man ist wirklich "vor Ort"

Man hat bis um 04:00 keine Ruhe. Am 07:00 fängt der Lärm wieder an. Isolation der Fenster mangelhaft. Sauberkeit auch.

This hotel is perfect for the beach which is10 mts from door with the café and road only thing between it. It is ideal for shopping, the Old Town is on your doorstep and the views are spectacular if you book a sea view room. Bedrooms and living area are the biggest I have stayed in. Don Cesar fits all our criteria for a hotel, clean, quiet and next to all amenities without being on top of them. We have read some bad reviews about the hotel but we have been 3 times in last 16 months and loved it every time. This place offers great value for money, it is an old fashioned family run hotel for those looking for a peaceful break.

We only had one key as the people before us had taken the keys with them (how selfish is that!)

The only plus was the sea view, no sky t v although when I booked it on the internet it did say there was certain channels that we could get, also a toaster would be nice.

Hotel Don Cesar is in an excellent location, right on the front, with the Mediterranean Sea rolling in just yards away. To your left is a good view right down Levante beach. To the rear of the hotel is the old town and, not far up the narrow streets, you'll find a big indoor fresh fruit & meat market with a Tesco type supermarket downstairs for water, bread, milk etc. The owners of Don Cesar, Mr Yanez & his family, are very nice and nothing is too much trouble. Any problems and he will sort it out. It's not a 5* hotel remember but, if you want a nice quaint, safe, quiet, tidy, clean hotel with a relaxed atmosphere, then the Don Cesar is for you. After a long hot day in Benidorm, get a big cool jug of Sangria from the bar downstairs and chill out on your room balcony...............well isn't that why you're there?

Everthing was fine.

If you like the beach the location is ideal and the Old Town is beautiful.

The only thing that put me off was the size of the balcony, it was tiny and only got the sun for 20 minutes at 5pm. The room was small and very basic.

The Noise of people hanging around outside till all hours of the morning

None of the above the hotel has no reception and rooms not cleaned at all in a week we had to ask for towels and bags to be emptyed its the worst experence we ever had on holiday filthy place and the day you are leaving there is no lugege room just a small room that people of the street can walk in to and no shower before you leave not even a toilet to use before you make an hr long trip to the airport never again is all I can say and was not cheap hotel by no means desmond mc allister and doreen mc allister

I love this little gem.been there 4 times now.handy for everything.rooms are a bit noisy just your luck how noisy.my last trip was 3nights.slept like a baby 2of them the third was quite noisy but i take earplugs and it didnt really affect my sleep.ive been in a lot noisier in Benidorm.The staff are lovely and also the don cesar bar/bistro is very nice for a drink overlooking the sea.and its Ice-cream heaven!!!!!!! Loads of eating joints on the doorstep i dont think you can do better fot the money and the rooms have everything you need freezer kettle cooker,you wont be dissapointed.

beds are a wee bit hard.

Parking expensive and not close by. no what to do in case of fire notices. tired appearance of the room but you get what you pay for

fantastic location,basic,but that was fine for us,convenient for everything including coach service to and from airport.

Very pleasant, comfortable hotel in an excellent location, front line to the Levante beach with wonderful views of the sea, the island and the whole promenade - from one end to the other. Definitely worth paying the extra for a seaview balcony room.

The only thing between you and the sea is fresh air and the cafe below, step out and you are at the entrance to Levante beach, great cafe if you don't want to move but excellent location for all the shops, bars and restaurants in The Old Town. The rooms are large one bedroom sea view average furniture but spotless, the cleaning staff are brilliant. A designer hotel this is not, but if you are looking for a clean family run hotel this is the one for you. We have stayed four times in the last 18 months and will be going again at Christmas.

Good Location in the old town and a 5 minute walk to the harbour, so all facilities close to hand. Tapa's alley just 2 minutes away - excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
